After a week long search for Soviet-era airplanes we’ve stumbled into a small airport in the Village of Krutyshki, near Stupino, Moscow oblast, ~70km south from Moscow, an hour and a half or two at most from Domodedovo. One of the airplane owner was nice enough to take my clients up for a ride in a jet. The photo has this adventure seeker and film maker after the flight. The flight club is actively interested in clients. Details are coming up. For now I’m adding them to my list as the most real gateway to the Russian aviation world I’ve so far found. Museums are full of oldies who just don’t care. Airports are just too commercial and secretive. If you are into airplanes, this club may be just what you are looking for.
